As a young growing company we are looking to expand our team of technicians. If you are a hardworking, enthusiastic, team player we might have a role for you.

A full UK driving Licence and UK passport are essential. You must be wiling to travel nationally and internationally for work and also be comfortable commuting to our Pinewood Studios workshop on a daily basis. Applicants must also be willing to work flexible and often very long hours as the Film and Television industry demands. Depending on your experience and working preferences you may be suited to one of these key roles:

Staff Trainee Technician:

For this role we require no prior experience working in the industry. However applicants must have plenty of common sense as well as a keen interest in the technical operations of Luna and a basic understanding of electronics. An aspiration to work within the camera department on set is essential. Long hours and working away frequently is all part of the job. Full training will be given in house on all of Luna’s systems with an end goal of training you up to become an experience remote head technician. On a day to day basis a trainee will be expected to aid the smooth running of the workshop as well as assisting more experienced crew on set until suitable training has taken place.

Staff Technician 

The staff technician role is open to any applicant who already has experience working in the camera department within the industry or anyone with a good understanding of electronics with working experience. Previous experience with remote camera systems is not essential but preferable. A staff technician will be relied upon to accompany our system on set supervise the use and safety of it during the shoot. A technician should be self motivated and have good problem solving skills. Staff technicians are also required to spend time prepping and planning in the workshop.

Freelance Technician

As a freelance technician you will be expected to do all of the above with a willingness to learn our systems. This will entail a willingness to give some free time to learn our systems.

Technicians must also be willing to drive our vehicles when necessary. For Technicians with camera operating experience there may also be opportunities to operate our systems on some jobs. This completely depends on experience with the system and previous experience working in a specific field of camera work. Industry rates paid.
